    Ordering a wall mural

What size should I specify when ordering a wall mural?

Measure the widest width and the highest height of your wall (only measure the area you want to cover with wallpaper) and send us the measurements.
In case of a more complicated shape or if you want to adjust for obstacles such as windows or doors, you can make a sketch of the wall including all relevant objects and dimensions, take a picture of the sketch and email it to us or submit it together with your online inquiry.

Can I order a wall mural from my own image?

Yes. We will send you an upload link and take a look at your image in order to find out if it will look good enough enlarged on your wall. Real photographs can be scanned and then uploaded.

Can I order a custom design?

You can either submit your own design along with your inquiry or share your design idea with us and we will let you know what we can do for you. You can submit a custom inquiry here.

Can I customize one of your designs?

Yes, let us know how you would like to customize one of our designs. Small design and color changes are carried out free of charge. We want your mural to fit your interior according to your imagination :)

What is the minimum order value?

Regardless of the size of the mural, the minimum order value is £120 (excluding shipping).

What is the width of each wallpaper panel (strip)?

All wallpaper panels are 50 cm (19.685 inches) wide. In your product sheet, you will find all of the other information about the dimensions of your product.

    Can I order samples?

You can order samples of any designs from our collections available online, as well as samples of custom designs. If you are not looking to order a sample with a specific design, you can also order a smaller material sample with or without print.

Are the colours seen on my screen accurate?

There may be some variation between what you see on your screen and what the final printed product looks like, but this is usually very minimal. If you want to be 100% sure your mural design will match a certain colour, you can order a sample print before ordering the wall mural.

    Product information

What material are Wallco murals manufactured from?

All of our murals are manufactured from a non-woven wallpaper material of the highest quality. A paper with textile-like qualities, our material is a modern, stable solution that makes the installation of your wall mural simpler and delivers a long-term result for your interior.

    Washability

Our material and ink are both washable which means the ink will not dissolve when it comes in contact with water. We recommend using a damp cloth or sponge to clean the wallpaper.

    Sustainability

Our non-woven material is FSC certified, and our ink is food-safety certified (EN 15102). Our material does not contain PVC, toxic components, or heavy metals, and is made up of roughly 80% natural components.

    Lightfastness

Our printing process, along with the inks we use, delivers a strong product resistant to colour fading.

    Aftercare

    Is your wallpaper washable?

Yes, you can easily clean our wallpapers with a damp cloth or sponge.

Can I remove and rehang my wallpaper?

We would not recommend doing that. Once the paste undercoat you used to hang your wallpaper has dried, it’s quite likely the wallpaper would get damaged in the process.

My wallpaper is peeling at the edges, how can I fix it?

This is rare, and likely the result of an imperfect installation process. You can try applying a little bit of water to reactivate the paste at the place where the wallpaper peeled off and reattaching it to the wall by pressing on it. If the problem persists, contact your local decorator.

How do I remove my wallpaper?

Simply peel off each wallpaper strip by pulling its bottom part away from the wall. After that you can use a wet sponge to wash away the wallpaper paste from the wall or you can grind it off using a grinding mesh. Depending on the quality of the wall’s surface, there may be some cosmetic damage to the wall.
